Family’s happy returns, three times over

Stefanie and Paul Thomas and their first child Oliver – celebrating their 27th, first and 29th birthdays, respectivelyToday is a triple red letter day for one family who are beating the astronomical odds by all celebrating their birthday on the same day.

Stefanie Thomas her husband Paul and their first child Oliver are never likely to forget each other’s birthdays – they all fall on September 6.

Oliver was born on that date last year, at odds of 133,225-1.

At the time his mother, from Plymouth, said: “I wish we had known because we would have gone to the bookies and put a bet on!”

And Mr Thomas added: “It’s quite convenient because I now only have to remember one date for all of us.
