Xeno, it is frustrating. Most of us have spent so much money on products trying to help ourselves. They look at people who try to help them self in a funny way too, but what are we supposed to do? It’s human nature to help yourself, esp. if no one else will.

It is hard to explain to someone who does not have it because the symptoms are unbelievable. I don’t know if I could believe it had I not been living it. But the medical community has had experiences with new and emerging diceases and they should not toss out our concerns and complaints without any creedence, as if we were all neurotic. You don’t have as many people as there are with this disease and call it psychological.

Sorry to hear about your unusual condition and your doctor’s unwillingness to consider your research. Sounds frustrating. How old were you and what type of environment were you in when it started?

I AM A MORGELLONS SUFFERER. I HAVE THE CLASSIC SYMPTOMS DESCRIBED IN MOST RESEARCH ARTICLES/PHYSICAL DISFIGUREMENT/ SAVED SAMPLES OF FILAMENTS ETC, YET, MY DOCTOR HAS TREATED MY PROBLEM AS IF IT’S A PSYCHOLOGICAL PROBLEM. I NEED SERIOUS EMERGENCY ATTENTION. MY DOCTOR AND DERMATOLOGIST ARE NOT DOING ALL THE TEST WHICH COULD CONFIRM MY SYMPTOMS TO BE PHYSIOLOGICAL NOT PSYCHOLOGICAL. IN THE PAST I HAVE TOLD MY DOCTORS THAT BASED ON MY ASSESSMENT OF MY SYMPTOMS, I CAME TO THE EDUCATED GUESS/CONCLUSION THAT MY SYMPTOMS WERE LINKED TO NEUROIMMUNOLOGIGAL CONNECTION WITH A POSSIBLE FUNGIPARASITIC DISRUPTION OF THE DNA.
I HAVE THE PHYSICAL SCARS OF THIS DISEASE TO CONFIRM MY EDUCATED ASSESSMENT. YES, THIS IS NOT A PYSCHOLOGICAL DISEASE, BUT RATHER A MEDICAL MYSTERY WHICH IF NOT TAKEN SERIOUSLY WILL GET OUT OF CONTROL JUST LIKE THE AIDS VIRUS WAS IN THE 1970′S. THIS IS NOT A JOKE. TAKE THIS MYSTERIOUS DISEASE SERIOUSLY BEFORE IT REACHES PANDEMIC STATUS LIKE AIDS. I CANNOT UNDERSTAND HOW DOCTORS EVEN WHEN PRESENTED WITH EVIDENCE OF A PHYSICAL LINKAGE TO THIS MYSTERY DISEASE THEY HAVE THE AUDACITY TO CLASSIFY PATIENTS AS SUFFERING FROM PSYCHOLOGICAL PROBLEM. I HONESTLY BELIEVE THAT THIS DISEASE COULD BE THE NEW AIDS.
I HAD TO BASICALLY ORDER MY DOCTOR TO PRESCRIBE CERTAIN TREATMENTS WHICH HAVE HELPED DECREASE THE SEVERITY OF MY SEVERE OUTBREAKS. I AM OF THE IMPRESSION THAT BOTH MY DOCTOR AND DERMATOLOGIST WOULD LIKE IT IF I DO NOT MENTION THE WORD MORGELLONS FOLLOWED BY SYNDROME. MY DERMATOLOGIST HAS REFUSED TO RUN TESTS ON THE SAVED SAMPLES THAT I HAVE ! I CAN PROVIDE THESE SAMPLES TO ANY MORGELLONS RESEARCHER WHO WOULD LIKE TO EXAMINE THEM.

Some day it will all come out just exactly what this thing dubbed Morgellons really is. I mean what infectious agent it is, not whether or not it is psychological or physiological.

There’s no doubt in the minds of thousands of sufferers that it is a valid disease and as well, the credible researchers such as the Charles E. Holman Foundation which is associated with the Oklahoma State Univ.

I thank God for those who stand by those suffering and keep on with their research. Through the years many diseases were not identified at first. The Medical Community should not be so hasty in calling this DOP just because they don’t know what it is or how to treat it. It is incomprehensible that the high number of people claiming to have this could all be delusional. Maybe the Drs. have delusions of delusions of parasitosis.

It is next to a crime, if not, the way so many, many people have tp suffer and whose lives have been turned upside down. Doesn’t anyone think they know how weird it sounds and that this is why it is so hard to live with? It has brought suicidal iseation to many suffering. Just think what it must be like to have your hair move independently of itself and to have biofilm spread so bad on you that your face is didfigured? These things happen along with more bizarre symptoms.

For anyone in their 50s it is hard to see a light at the end of the tunnel. Research takes so long in both finding the pathogen and then something to cure it or put it into remission.

It is going to take a many Drs. getting this disease before it is accepted, and they will. It is just a matter of time.

I thank God for being with me through all this, for without Him I would have taken my life long ago and been creamated. People without it should be worried because there is no known cause, rhyme, or reason as to why people get this.
