Nerves exist, blood vessels, the lymph system, and so on, but by inventing imaginary “energy pathways” people can explain real effects due to brain wiring of things like reflexology. At least I think reflexology has repeatable results… I haven’t checked into that yet.

That’s my current view, but I’m open to new evidence.

I once visited a Kinesiologist who did the same muscle testing. It involved laying on my back on a massage table/bed and raising the right arm straight up. She then applied pressure on my low arm, I think, to force my hand down toward my leg.

Depending upon how she held her fingers and hand while it was touching my navel area, I was either able or unable to resist her pushing on my arm.

It definitely proves that strength can be dramatically reduced, if not increased, (maybe, who knows?), by interfering with a person’s ‘aura’ for want of a less evocative word.
