Australian billionaire to build Titanic II

The replica of the ill-fated ship will be built at a Chinese shipyard and will sail on its maiden voyage accompanied by the Chinese navy. It will be powered by diesel rather than coal but will otherwise follow design plans approved by a historical research team and, like its predecessor, will have 840 rooms and nine decks.

Asked whether the new ship could sink, Mr Palmer, Australia’s fifth-richest person, said: “Of course it will sink if you put a hole in it.”

He added: “It will be designed as a modern ship with all the technology to ensure that doesn’t happen. But, of course, if you are superstitious like you are, you never know what could happen.”

Mr Palmer said the boat will have the same dimensions as the Titanic and will replicate its design as closely as possible but will have “state of the art engineering”. The only differences will be below the water line, he said, and will include a bulbous bow for greater fuel efficiency and diesel generation, plus an enlarged rudder and bow thrusters for improved manoeuvrability.

“Titanic II will be the ultimate in comfort and luxury with on-board gymnasiums and swimming pools, libraries, high class restaurants and luxury cabins,” he said.

Cake In Face Leads To Stabbing

Fights over a friendly cake-to-the-face and another about taste in music led to stabbings at two separate San Diego parties on Saturday night.

An unidentified man playfully smeared cake on his girlfriend’s face at a Fairmont Village party, the Union-Tribune reported. The move enraged the woman’s brother, who pulled out a blade.

“The girlfriend’s brother, a male in his mid-20s, did not think it was funny,” according to a police report obtained by the Los Angeles Times. “He took out a knife and stabbed the boyfriend and two other males attending the party.”

The victims, whose names weren’t provided, were treated at the hospital with stab wounds to their backs, hands and abdomens after the 10:55 p.m. incident. Cops are still looking for the alleged assailant, who wasn’t identified.

The real life X-Files: Meet the people who have been abducted by aliens

… there are many people on this planet who earnestly claim they have been visited by aliens, and have been abducted and taken off this planet, even to alien homeworlds.

While their accounts may vary, the one thing they share is a conviction in what they saw, what they experienced, and the impact it had on their lives. New York photographer Steven Hirsch, 63,has interviewed and photographed many abductees.

He said: ‘I don’t want my audience to have any preconceptions about these people before they see my images and read their words.

‘My interviews barely break the surface of what is going on in their lives … or in their minds. I’m not an analyst, my questions are not intended to find answers but to allow people to tell us their stories.

‘We’ve become desensitized to the TV sound-bite. With these projects we can stare at the picture. Stare into their eyes. Feel their angst. It’s a very simple approach. There’s no distractions.’

Here, the ‘abductees’ tell the stories, in their own words:

When I was in my thirties I found out from my father the truth about a government experiment that I was part of in which they were using other alien DNA to create me. I also have been on the ships most of my life off and on. I’ve had lots of contacts. Most of my contacts began when I was a teenager although I had it when I was younger. I was being taken. I’ve been taken on ships quite a bit.

I’ve also been on various ships. Mother ships and transporter ships. I’ve got to meet numerous types of beings. I’ve met Salamander beings and I’ve met Greys, various different types of Greys. I’ve also met the Blue Arcturians which are incredible. They all have their own personalities and their own purposes. So I’ve met Blue Arcturians. I’ve met Andromedans, the Assyrian Warriors of Light. I’ve met the Sirius Nephrons. I’ve also met the Cat People that are from Sirius. I’ve met many. I’ve actually seen people that can shape shift from human looking to Reptilians.

As far as the abductions. I’ve had numerous of them where they’ve shown me around various ships. They’ve also explained to me about the Hybrids and about the Starseeds that are here on planet Earth, why they’re here and how they’re here to help humanity. My job primarily is to awaken the Starseeds to remember why they’re here on planet Earth.

‘I have communication with beings of all different races. I’ve had communication with Reptilians as well as those that look like werewolves. They look like werewolves on steroids. I’ve also had communication with the human looking ones, with Ashtar, with Sananda, with Archangel Michael. I’ve also been able to help others go to the ships. Part of my mission is to help people get to the ships that need to be on the ships.

‘There’s a lot of what you would consider updating when it comes to with what’s happening to planet Earth and when strategies have to change then many of the Starseeds that are here on special missions are taken to the ships where they are then informed of the changes in the strategies and so forth of what is going to be happening in the future. I’ve never yet ever met a being that was malevolent. I’ve always meet the benevolent ones. I’ve never experienced unconditional love till I’ve met them face to face and had conscious contact with them. They have taught me the importance of living with unconditional love and working with the light of source. This is the power that rules the universe.’

Yeah, I too met the Blue Arcturians!  Oh wait, that’s right, I didn’t actually meet a Blue Arcturian, I saw an episode of Star Trek: Enterprise with Shran, the Blue Andorian.  Honest mistake. He’s incredible and his character has it’s own personality and purposes.

Man sues BMW, alleging motorcycle seat gave him two-year erection

Commercials for erectile dysfunction medications like Cialis end with a warning that individuals should contact their doctor if they have an erection that lasts for more than four hours.

After 20 months, Henry Wolf decided to contact a lawyer instead, claiming that the seat on his BMW motorcycle gave him an erection lasting nearly two years. The San Francisco Chronicle reports that Wolf filed a lawsuit against BMW North American and Corbin-Pacific claiming that the “ridged seat” on his 1993 motorcycle left him with mental and emotional anguish after allegedly causing an extreme case of priapism, also known as a long-lasting erection.

Wolf “has been experiencing continuing problems since his motorcycle ride,” attorney Vernon Bradley of Sausalito wrote in the lawsuit, which was filed in California Superior Court in San Francisco last Thursday. “He is now unable to engage in sexual activity, which is causing him substantial emotional and mental anguish.”

Bradley said the alleged case of priapism began after Wolf took a four-hour ride on his motorcycle.

As those erectile dysfunction commercials so regularly note, priapism can technically be onset after just four hours and is generally considered an emergency medical condition. The condition is named after the Greek fertility god Priapus, who is commonly depicted as having an unusually large erection.
