Pitch guessing breakthrough

For a long time I have had little luck with the Pitch Hero app for the iPhone. While sleeping to recover from this flu, my brain gave me a partial solution to this puzzle of pitches i’ve been pursuing. Here it is: hum a C note while listening to the quiz notes. Using relative pitch and listening to the harmony made between your C and the app, you can improve you score greatly. I got 36 notes right on the first three plays then missed one on the last. Of course I know this is relative and not absolute pitch, but even getting this 100% correct takes work. I’m hoping to progress from singing the C reference out loud to singing it in my mind.

Got a flu
