Bigfoot Finding A Fraud, Whitton Terminated

Posted by Xeno on August 19, 2008

A Web site that claimed two Georgia men had found Bigfoot says the men’s claim is a fraud. SearchingForBigfoot.com has confirmed that the two Georgia men who claimed they found Bigfoot were lying. The Web site said that Matthew Whitton and Ricky Dyer delivered the freezer containing the reported remains of the Bigfoot the day after the press conference that they called for. It also said that Whitton and Dyer were given an undisclosed amount of money from Searching For Bigfoot before they went public with their find.As soon as he learned it was a hoax, Clayton County Police Chief Jeff Turner moved to have Whitton fired.

“On August 15th, 2008, Tom Biscardi, Ricky Dyer and Matthew Whitton held a press conference at the Cabana Hotel in Paolo Alto, California, announcing that the corpse of a creature fitting the description known as ‘Bigfoot’ had been discovered. A police officer of seven years, on medical leave, labeled as a hero for being wounded in the line of duty, got up in front of the world and told the world of how he and Ricky Dyer uncovered this creature. This has since been proven a lie. It is notable that Rick Dyer insisted on this press conference and told Tom Biscardi he would not release the ‘body’ unless the conference was held on this specific date,” said Executive Director of Squatchdetective.com Steve Kulls on SearchingForBigfoot.com. After the Searching For Bigfoot team and “The Real Bigfoot Hunter” Tom Biscardi began to thaw out the creature in a 1,500 lb. cooler of ice, they discovered it was a rubber suit. Biscardi contacted Whitton and Dyer and they agreed to admit the truth to the public. When Biscardi arrived at their hotel, the pair had vanished.Searching For Bigfoot believes that their motive was financial.”It is still unclear why Whitton who, being a police officer for the Clayton County Police Department in Georgia got up before the world and lied and was complicit in a scheme to defraud in a felonious manner” said Kulls. CBS 46 News tried to contact Whitton or Dyer on the Bigfoot Tracker Tip Line and left a message, but neither has returned our calls. - cbs46

Strangest “Crooked Cop” story ever. I read that they had showed some close up photos of the mouth to convince people it was not a costume, and it worked. The photo seems to have teeth and a tongue.

One extremely weird possibility is that “Bigfoot” is a space suit for aliens visiting our planet. Perhaps officer Matt Whitton almost stumbled onto that secret and had to be discredited? That almost seems more plausible to me than a police officer and a former corrections officer saying what they did about a frozen rubber costume.

“They don’t have a choice to believe us. We have a body,” Dyer said. - cbs13

A friend and I once dressed up in suits and made a bigfoot video.  From the start we let people know it was a hoax, just for fun to see what it looked like on film. So, I know what a $500 ape suit looks like up close.

Let’s look at those teeth a bit closer…

Wow. Look at the hairs around the mouth. Looks real.

Matt Whitton, an officer who has been on medical leave from the Clayton County Police Department, and Rick Dyer, a former Georgia corrections officer, announced the find in early July on YouTube videos and a Web site. “Everyone who has talked down to us is going to eat their words,” Whitton said at the time. - cm

Where are they now? Are they being held for debriefing by the Men in Black? … Or did they just skip town with the loot after a really weird career ending scam?

Here is a comparison. The costume is on the left and right.

Reportedly, there are warrants out for the arrest of Ric Dyer and Matt Whitton. Felony fraud charges.

Here is a video showing the thawed costume.

Does this still from the video showing the costume match the close up of the teeth first shown?

Something is weird. If I trust my own eyes, I am not convinced that this costume we are seeing now is the same thing in the first pictures. The first one gives me a sense of being a real wild animal, scary as hell, but the second one looks like a costume, somewhat comical.  The hair pattern looks different and so do the teeth and nose.  The head is now in a different position. I’d like to see more of this costume in the original position. I want a close up of the teeth of this costume too, to compare to the original teeth photo.

UK police bust plot to kill Queen

Posted by Xeno on August 19, 2008

An Islamist terror cell busted with details of bomb-making and suicide vests is said to have been plotting to kill the British Queen and some high-profile members of the royal family, including Prince Charles. ( Watch )

This suspicion has been drawn from a list, containing information about the queen, the duke of Edinburgh, the Prince of Wales, the Duke of York and Princess Royal, which police have recovered from the possession of the arrested members of the terror cell, the Daily Telegraph reported on Tuesday.

Also on the list were the names of princess Michael of Kent, the duke and duchess of Gloucester and the Duke and Duchess of Kent.

“They had details of explosives and poisons along with information about London landmarks and a computer folder on royal residences. We’d be foolish to rule out the fact that they may have been planning an attack,” the newspaper quoted a counter-terrorism source as saying.

In fact, the arrested members had in their possession pictures, maps and details of the opening hours of official residences of the royal family, and prominent landmarks like the houses of parliament, Tower Bridge, apart from a home-made video of the Washington Memorial and World Bank in the US. According to Detective Chief Superintendent John Parkinson, the head of the counter terrorism unit in Leeds, the men posed a “very real threat”.

“Let there be no doubt these are dangerous individuals. These men were not simply in possession of material which expressed extremist views. They were also in possession of material that was operationally useful to anyone wishing to carry out an act of violence or terrorism,” he said. -timesofindia

Very real threat. No doubt. Why question it? You aren’t questioning it are you? Good. Because the danger is extreme. No question.

U.S. counter-terrorism officials express relief over Musharraf exit

Posted by Xeno on August 19, 2008

Whether it was the hunt for Osama bin Laden or secret airstrikes on Taliban forces in the badlands of Pakistan’s border with Afghanistan, much of the Bush administration’s war on terrorism has hinged on its relationship with general-turned-president Pervez Musharraf. - lat

Considering that Musharraf’s Lieutenant-General Mahmoud Ahmad (then head of the Pakistani ISI) was the “money man” who paid lead 9/11 hijacker Mohammed Atta over $100,000, and that Ahmed was meeting with key members of our government when the jets hit the buildings, I’ll express my relief when the neocons exit.

The following  images are from documents about Ahmad released by the Department of Defense due to a Freedom of Information request. They were found on truthnews.us:

Mahmood instructed Saeed to transfer $100,000 into hijacker Mohamed Atta’s bank account prior to 9/11. This is according to Indian intelligence, which claims the FBI has privately confirmed the story. [Press Trust of India, 10/8/2001; Times of India, 10/9/2001; India Today, 10/15/2001; Daily Excelsior (Jammu), 10/18/2001] The story is not widely reported in Western countries, though it makes the Wall Street Journal. [Australian, 10/10/2001; Agence France-Presse, 10/10/2001; Wall Street Journal, 10/10/2001] It is reported in Pakistan as well. [Dawn (Karachi), 10/8/2001] The Northern Alliance also repeats the claim in late October. [Federal News Service, 10/31/2001] In Western countries, the usual explanation is that Mahmood is fired for being too close to the Taliban. [London Times, 10/9/2001; Guardian, 10/9/2001] The Times of India reports that Indian intelligence helped the FBI discover the link, and says, “A direct link between the ISI and the WTC attack could have enormous repercussions. The US cannot but suspect whether or not there were other senior Pakistani Army commanders who were in the know of things. Evidence of a larger conspiracy could shake US confidence in Pakistan’s ability to participate in the anti-terrorism coalition.” [Times of India, 10/9/2001] There is evidence some ISI officers may have known of a plan to destroy the WTC as early as July 1999. Two other ISI leaders, Lt. Gen. Mohammed Aziz Khan and Lt. Gen. Muzaffar Usmani, are sidelined on the same day as Mahmood (see October 8, 2001). [Fox News, 10/8/2001] Saeed had been working under Khan. The firings are said to have purged the ISI of its fundamentalists. However, according to one diplomat, “To remove the top two or three doesn’t matter at all. The philosophy remains.… [The ISI is] a parallel government of its own. If you go through the officer list, almost all of the ISI regulars would say, of the Taliban, ‘They are my boys.’” [New Yorker, 10/29/2001] It is believed Mahmood has been living under virtual house arrest in Pakistan (which would seem to imply more than just a difference of opinion over the Taliban), but no charges have been brought against him, and there is no evidence the US has asked to question him. [Asia Times, 1/5/2002] He also has refused to speak to reporters since being fired [Associated Press, 2/21/2002] , and outside India and Pakistan, the story has only been mentioned infrequently in the media since. [Sunday Herald (Glasgow), 2/24/2002; London Times, 4/21/2002] He will reemerge as a businessman in 2003, but still will not speak to the media (see July 2003). - historycommons
