THIS tiny elf-like figure dubbed the “leprechaun-alien” was caught on camera as he flees a forest.
The wee chap - who looks no taller than 3ft - can be seen running from the woodland just as a tourist whipped out his camera. He was snapped in Lake Tahoe, USA, by holidaymaker Lloyd Deneau, who paused to take a picture of the stunning trees and caught the extraordinary teeny figure. Lloyd, 41, from Florida, swears the image has not been doctored. … He added: “I have a military background and don’t really believe in aliens, but I can’t explain this.” As well as an elf, leprechaun and alien, the figure has even been described as a baby BIGFOOT. - thesun
Notice that his legs seem to be almost invisible. One theory I’ve heard is that bigfoot has a natural evolved ability to become transparent which is why people sometimes report seeing only parts of a bigfoot or alien…

A global review of the world’s primates says 48% of species face extinction, an outlook described as “depressing” by conservationists.
The IUCN Red List of Threatened Species says the main threat is habitat loss, primarily through the burning and clearing of tropical forests. More than 70% of primates in Asia are now listed as Endangered, it adds. The findings form part of the most detailed survey of the Earth’s mammals, which will be published in October.
Other threats include hunting of primates for food and the illegal wildlife trade, explained Russell Mittermeier, chairman of global conservation group IUCN’s Primate Specialist Group and president of Conservation International. “In many places, primates are quite literally being eaten to extinction,” he warned. “Tropical forest destruction has always been the main cause, but now it appears that hunting is just as serious a threat in some areas, even where the habitat is still quite intact.” - bbc

Well, there is a little good news. 1) You can help the orangutans by not using products with Palm Oil unless the oil comes from domestic sources. 2) A 125,00 Gorillas were just found. You know what I’m about to say don’t you? If 125,00 Gorillas can stay hidden, how about a handfull of bigfoot?

For more than a year, speculation, rumors and mystery have surrounded the former leader of the Gallup Catholic Diocese, in Albuquerque, N.M.
Last July, Bishop Donald Pelotte sustained multiple injuries in his home. He said he fell down a flight of stairs, but a mysterious 911 call from Pelotte is casting doubt on his claim — so are his injuries.A Gallup police officer called to the hospital took pictures of the battered and bruised bishop. The pictures have recently been publicly released, reported TV station KOAT. … A dispatch log from September details Gallup police were called to the bishop’s home after he told operators “gentle little people about 3 to 4 feet tall wearing Halloween masks” were in his home.”Can you tell me what happened?” the dispatcher asked.”They’re just moving. They’ve been quiet. They’ve been going upstairs in the bedrooms and hiding behind the artifacts. But they don’t talk,” said Pelotte, adding that they were wearing masks.”What kind of masks do they have?” asked the dispatcher.”Ma’am, I don’t have the time to tell you. You’ll see it for yourself. Please send somebody over here,” said Pelotte. He then told the dispatcher that the little people were gentle, but that he was going to hide in his bedroom. In April, Pope Benedict XVI accepted the bishop’s resignation. The bishop has been living in Florida. - koat

The neurological basis for poor witness statements and hallucinations has been found by scientists at UCL (University College London). In over a fifth of cases, people wrongly remembered whether they actually witnessed an event or just imagined it, according to a paper published in NeuroImage this week.
Dr Jon Simons and Dr Paul Burgess led the study at the UCL Institute of Cognitive Neuroscience. Dr Burgess said: “In our tests volunteers either thought they had imagined words which they had actually been shown or said they had seen words which in fact they had just imagined - in over 20 per cent of cases. That is quite a lot of mistakes to be making, and shows how fallible our memory is - or perhaps, how slim our grip on reality is!
“Our work has implications for the validity of witness statements and agrees with other studies that show that our mind sometimes fills in memory gaps for us, and we confuse what we imagined occurred in a situation - which is related to what we expect to happen or what usually happens - with what actually happened.
“Most of us, though, have a critical reality monitoring function so that we are able to distinguish well enough between what is real and what is imagined and our imagination does not have too great an impact on our lives - unless the reality check system breaks down such as after stroke or in cases of schizophrenia.” … - ucla

The Knights Templar are demanding that the Vatican give them back their good name and, possibly, billions in assets into the bargain, 700 years after the order was brutally suppressed by a joint venture between the Pope and the King of France.
If the Holy See doesn’t comply, the warrior knights, renowned for liberating the Holy Land, will deploy that most fearsome of weapons: a laborious court case through the creaking Spanish legal system. … - theregister
